Geraldine Mills from Geraldine Walks is sharing her 8 most Instagrammable places in Paris with us today. I love her motto: “I live to let go, I live to travel far and wide. I live to imprint my feet in different places, in different spaces.” Thanks for sharing this with us, Geraldine!

Ah Paris, the city of love. Who wouldn’t want to visit this romantic city?

Everywhere you look, it feels like you’re in a movie. This is one of the main reasons why tourists flock to this city despite the fact that it gets crowded.

No one cares about the crowd as long as they get the opportunity to pose in front (or whichever side is less crowded) one of Paris’s iconic landmarks — whether it be the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, or even the Louvre.

But Paris isn’t only about these three icons. Paris is so much more.

It’s only even fitting to bring your most trendy carry-on luggage when you visit this city because that’s how posh the city is.

It’s normal to be intimidated, but where will that get you? Nowhere.

So, put your chin up high and your stilettos higher, and then head over to eight of the most Instagrammable places in Paris.

Shopping streets in Paris are unlike any other. They look so beautiful, and you might mistake it for some exquisite art gallery in town.

We can’t blame you, there are plenty of galleries in Paris, and in the case of Galerie Vivienne, it’s easy to assume this particular shopping passageway is one of them. Not to mention that its name even sounds like one.

From its mosaic flooring to hand-carved wooden feature and ample amount of lighting coming down from the ceiling, Galerie Vivienne is definitely one of those Paris spots that could light up your Instagram feed with sophistication.

Rue Crémieux

If you like your feed to be all colorful, head over to Rue Crémieux to achieve that. Your Instagram palette will thank you for an additional happy vibe.

This row of colorful houses is one of the prettiest streets in Paris. Pick your color, and take photos from every angle.

Just take note that this is still a residential area, so please keep your actions in check when you’re in the area as a sign of respect to the place.

Dome of Sacré Coeur Basilica

The Eiffel Tower isn’t the only famous height in Paris. The Dome of Sacré Coeur Basilica is one of those majestic places that will make your jaw drop and will be left there for minutes and more before you actually realize it has fallen on the ground.

The incredible ceiling art is more photogenic than any commercial model in the world, and that’s an understatement. You can stare at it for as long as you like, but just don’t forget the main reason you went here — to take a mean selfie or a stunning photo of the art from a unique angle all for the love of Instagram.

You may also climb the terraces to have a view of the city. But if you want a more impressive vista, climb all the way up to the top of the dome and revel in the beauty of Paris — which in all honesty, is another opportunity for your ‘gram.

Flame of Liberty

While we all know that the Statue of Liberty in New York is a gift of France to the United States, the Flame of Liberty in Paris is a sign that the French really value the friendship between the two countries.

This particular Paris landmark is the replica of the torch from the Statue of Liberty, hence the name.

You can add a bit of history to your feed by taking your photo here. Just get off at Alma-Marceau subway stop, and you’ll surely find the Flame of Liberty waving at you in a matter of minutes.

Pont de Bir-Hakeim

If you’ve watched Inception, you would definitely recognize this bridge.

While that’s one reason to visit this site, tourists would instantly want to go here when they found out this particular spot has a great view of the Eiffel Tower like the one seen here.

Not all of us can tolerate a huge throng of crowd. So, if you’re one of those people who want to get a different perspective of the world-famous tower, this is where you should go for one of your Instagrammable places in Paris for photos.

But let’s not forget that this bridge itself is as beautiful as any popular spot in Paris, which means you’ll get your photo opportunity right here without worrying too much about people passing by.

Jardin des Tuileries

Of course, a visit to Paris won’t be complete without visiting the Louvre for the Mona Lisa and other historical art. That’s a given. But keep in mind that just a few meters away from this museum is the Jardin des Tuileries. Here you can take a stroll at one of the most beautiful parks in Paris, if not the whole world.

This is a public garden. Visit as long as you like, or well, for as long as you finally get that Instagram-worthy photo.

With plenty of pretty spaces across the garden, feel free to choose which background to pick for your photos.

Tour Montparnasse

Now, impress your followers with a sleek shot of the whole of Paris. Climb up the highest man-made structure in the city. That’s the Tour Montparnasse for you.

You can forget about taking an actual photo of this high-rise building so you can focus on the composition of your Paris cityscape photo — the Eiffel Tower, the Dome of Sacré Coeur Basilica, and other famous landmarks included.

Parc des Buttes Chaumont

Once you feel a little bit worn out by all the sight of steel and structures, you can take a break at the Parc des Buttes Chaumont where you can have a taste of tranquility even in the middle of a really busy city.

It’s a natural landscape that also translates to photo opportunities!

Don’t skip the Temple de la Sibylle as it is one of the unique spots in this magnificent park. It would surely be a great addition to all the stunning photos you took around the city of love.

Conclusion

You already know what they say, Paris is always a good idea. But taking photos around this exquisite city is an even greater idea.

With all the fantastic spots at every corner, it would probably take half your Instagram space, and that’s completely fine! Believe us, no one will ever dare to complain because this is Paris we’re talking about.
